Baroque Slant-Front Secretary Desk, Mid-18th Century

Baroque slant-front secretary desk crafted from oak and cherry, featuring a three-drawer lower chest with a serpentine front and shaped apron feet. Above is a fall-front writing section with compartmented interior. The upper section is completed by a two-door cabinet with a broken pediment. The hardware is made of brass, and the drawer fronts and doors are decorated with parquetry. The desk remains in unrestored original condition, retaining its authentic patina.
