Description
Impressive early Baroque armchair with straight, upholstered armrests, turned baluster legs, and cross stretchers. The rectangular backrest is topped with a carved crest rail featuring a cartouche with an anchor motif. The inscription “IMO 1701 AMO” is carved into the cartouche. The chair is upholstered in green velvet. Unrestored condition.
