Description
Hand-painted two-door folk armoire from Franconia, crafted in fir wood, featuring panelled doors adorned with figural scenes and birds. The piece is painted in a deep red ground with contrasting black accents. The profiled cornice bears the inscription “Maria Anna Prüy geborene Schuirer” and the date 1773. Fitted with original iron hardware. The interior is paper-lined and equipped with a clothes rail and hat shelf.
