Description
Striking two-door folk art armoire featuring vivid floral and geometric decoration. The door panels are adorned with painted vases of flowers, surrounded by bands and dotted patterns in bold colors. The lower rail and the doors are inscribed with the monogram K.OM and the date 1840. A remarkable example of Southern German folk art, retaining its original polychrome finish and vibrant presence.
