Painted Folk Armoire, Southern Germany, circa 1800

Light blue hand-painted fir-wood armoire with two doors, arched pediment, and a molded cornice. The chamfered corners and doors feature four landscape scenes with Christian symbolism. Fitted with brass hardware. The interior includes a drawer and a hat shelf. Can be converted into a wardrobe if desired.
