Pair of Neoclassical-style Chairs with White-Painted Frames, Late 19th Century

Pair of elegant Neoclassical-style chairs, 19th Century.

The chairs stand on slender, fluted square legs and feature slightly curved backrests. The openwork backrests each display a central diamond-shaped decorative element, flanked by narrow vertical supports.

The wooden frames have been newly painted white and finished with a subtle patina. The seats are upholstered in antique natural-colored linen and finished with decorative nailhead trim.
